Adamantium is a fictional element found in varied media, most famous perhaps in its Marvel comics incarnation, it is said to be virtually indestructible and is the means by which several prominent superheroes and villains gain their power - such as Wolverine's skeleton, Lady Deathstrike's claws and some variants of the Ultron robot. This metal is said to be the harder material found in nature, and it can only be worked under high temperatures. There also exists a maleable alloy variant known as Carbonadium.
